10 ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR CONFERENCE
We were able to add one more room to our reservation list for the Hilton Garden Inn. That makes 10 rooms with 2 Queen beds, for a total of 40 people. We are looking at making reservations at some of the other area hotels, probably at a little less cost, but further from the venue. We will keep you posted.
There will be a Beth Moore event in Richmond next August and some of us are already interested in attending. Here is some information for you to consider whether you want to go. If you think you would like to attend, mark it on your calendar and START SAVING YOUR $. We would like to hear suggestions from anyone who is thinking about going.
DATES: August 27 and 28, 2010
LOCATION: Richmond Convention Center
COST: Tickets for the Conference are General Admission (no reserved seats) and cost $60.00.
HOTEL INFORMATION: There are a number of hotels listed on the website; we felt that it would work better to be within walking distance of the venue, and have already reserved 9 rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn right across the street. These are rooms with 2 Queen Beds and will accommodate 4 people at a cost of approximately $45 per person. If you decide to attend, you are not obligated to stay at this hotel, but it will make staying together as a group much easier.
We have time to consider everything, but the sooner we start signing up and planning, the better it will work out. We would like to be able to register sooner rather than later to ensure that we have enough tickets for everyone. Don't wait -- let someone know you are interested as soon as possible.
One thing we can tell you is that this IS a Beth Moore Bible study, but there will be NO homework!
