SCRAPBOOKING NIGHT
Next Meeting - Friday, October 16th, 2009

Have you ever wanted to get started scrapbooking, but needed some instruction and suggestions?  Do you have some unfinished scrapbooks you would like another opinion on?  Do you need space to set up and spread out so you can "get it done"?

Leanne Connor has the answer; she heads a Scrapbooking Night the second Friday of each month for all who are interested.

WHO: Just a bunch of ladies getting together for scrapbooking and snacks -- and lots of talking and laughing.  For the beginner and the experienced scrapbooker. 
WHEN: The Second Friday of each Month - see schedule below for dates.
WHERE: The Church Cafeteria
TIME:  6:00 PM until Midnight??  (Yes, whenever you can get there for as long as you want.).  It sounds like a lot of time, but once you get going, the time passes before you know it.
PROJECTS: Bring whatever you're working on, or Leanne has some quick projects to get you started.
SUPPLIES:  Bring your own or Leanne has "Creative Memories" products available to purchase or order.  Everyone shares their tools, supplies and ideas.
SNACKS:  Provided by participants if you want.
COST: No Charge($0)
BENEFITS:  Lots of fun and fellowship and food.  A chance for moms to spread out and get creative.

"Hanging of the Greens" is Ridgeview's annual decorating of the church for Christmas.  November 29th is the first day of Advent, which is a season of preparation.  Advent means "arrival" in Latin, so this is the beginning of our preparation for the birth of Christ.  We will celebrate in music and worship.  Come and join us.
